Trust me, we get it. You're busy heading meetings, attending grad school, having your third child and or waiting in line at a McDonalds drive thru, in no particular order of course. Either way, you probably don't have the time - or the patience - to wrap your hair in a french twist every day of your life - understandable. Nonetheless, there's no reason you can't have an easy, effortless look without selling your soul to the hair God's and in case you're wondering how, we've got you covered.

At the outset, I know I’m a month and a half late to the ‘new year, new me’ party and sure it might be because I didn’t cop an invite to begin with, but really it’s because I was too busy feeling myself at the ‘new year, same me making slow and steady progress without having to subscribe to overly restrictive diet plans’ party. Don’t get me wrong, I love a fresh start as much as the next person.
Awakened by the unmistakable sound of what should otherwise be the calm and gentle break of dawn, she hastily reaches for her alarm clock whilst mentally relaying all the ways her life would be different if she were slimmer, smaller – less obvious to the world.
This outfit is something different for me. These are colours that I don’t usually wear. Sure, I have my lemon print dress and I do love yellow, but generally I shy away from a lot of yellow/orange/greens/browns. I really love how this outfit turned out though. I wore it out to dinner and was super comfortable the whole evening.
It’s been a while hasn’t it? How have you been? I trust you have been keeping well. I’m alright, will update you on all that’s been going on in another blog post. Let me get first started on a few of my fashion posts that have been on the backlog.
I love it when I find new brands that cater to curvy lifestyles. I stumbled across this fabulous Australian company, NYATA, and they literally took my breath away. These custom handmade designs are literally one of a kind. Cool fact, Nyata means “real.” If that isn’t clarity that you will love this brand, nothing else will do! What I love most is everything is fun, and full of life with great textures catering to women of all sizes. So curvy girls, get away from hiding behind black and step into sequins, patterns and textures! Style Details Dress: Indah Khaki| Shoes: Sam Edelman.
